I am a pointer guy so I am not familiar with the Shorthair lines, and was wondering what you guys thought would be a good cross with my female. She is out of N...

Re: Attitudes High Finance as a stud dog....?
Gigolo is producing some winners and has proven to be a good sire. I have never heard anyone fault the HTA dogs for not having enough run. Scott Miller has some really nice derbys directly out of Bull that are winning on the shooting dog circuit and a couple of first year shooting dogs that are hold...

Re: Georgia Open Shooting Dog Championship
Ross,
Speaking of derbys if you get a chance watch a setter male named Cody in the 32nd brace. I've ran against him all year and he is the real deal. I would suggest that anyone who gets a chance to watch Offlee Amazin. He can fly!!!

Re: e-collar around flank?
I have always used the collar positioned one the neck but am considering trying the flank for an extremely obstanant dog i have. Where exactly do you postion the prongs on the dog? Do you position them on the side or on the belly?

Dog Training Vest
Does anyone know where you can get a good dog training vest that will hold several live quail or pigeons. Wick made a great one but they have gone out of business.

I changed a couple of months ago from the 26/18 black gold (blck bag) to the 26/18 red flannel and had really good results. The red flannels main ingredient is chicken so I believe the stool is a little better. The only problem with the red flannel is the price jumped from $19 a bag to $24 recently.

Of the pups I have had out of both, the Bull pups seem to have better tails. Cash pups are usually a little cleaner though and have more size. Scott has some really nice young dogs out of Gigolo right now, and you are starting to see a few wins out of his derbys. Gigolo has not been bred near as muc...

Mike, I just raised an entire litter out of HTA and have a female bred to Shadow's Attitude right now and they are both phenomanal producers. The way your female is bred I would lean towards Cash because of the Elhew ties. What I like about Cash pups is how early they come on. At five months they ar...
