Sounds good to me working with a trainer. The only thing I would not do is work your young dog with a older dog. When you do that it seems like the younger dog tends to follow the older dog . Cooper should be worked and evaluated on his own. IMO....Scott

Mine fits alittle loose, but do not trust the belt clip on them. It will come off the belt in high weeds and you will lose the transmitter. When I replaced mine,I made sure it was hunter orange..Scott

IMO one should always be concerned about health or potential heath issues. As far as some folks go ( would like to make a broad statement but, can't make that broad brush statement, but you know what I mean) they, like many do not want to spend the money when they don't feel they have had a problem...

Mr. Ruff, Ken started getting dogs from Carl and Ellen in the late sixty's and the early seventy's. He was helping them breed dogs. He had his stock before the kennel was sold. He also was helping Summers with the breeding of dogs till things fell apart........Scott

Well understand how you feel, because on a trip to Mn this year I lost my remote for my new TT. :oops: It came off my belt also. $199 later I was back on the road and mine is in a hunter orange cover now. I do not think they will cover it.............Scott

I second what knine siad. Horse sheen is what I use and it does a good job. But they do still get the burs on them ,but I feel it makes it easier to get them out.........Scott

I carry skunk off, and towels in the first aid kit, and I also carry water just in case............I have had one get skunked, but he rode in the dog box in the bed of the truck. Now since I have a suburban it is a whole diff deal.................Scott

It is a crap shoot no matter what you do. There is no guarantee either way. I have seen excellent dogs produce fair. I would not buy a pup from somebody who does not have the parents hips checked, nor would I breed a dog that is fair. I found a 5 year old setter that had the style, looks and the ped...

GATech,you may want to have her checked for a UTI. Also maybe the kennel is too big for her. Sometimes if there is too much room in the kennel they will go potty. You never said how much you are limiting her water intake. You may want to cut back. I would keep that in mind......................Scott

I have two Ryman / Old Hemlock Setters. Love them to death. Their range is 50- 60 yards which is perfect for me. They point with so much style, just love all the hair on the tail.But it is a pain to get out all the briars...........Scott

I havent bought a bag since the change...but if its gone up in price that much, I probably wont be either. I think the way dog food prices are going up...alot of people may be forced to change what they are feeding, especially if you have alot of mugs to feed.
