2/4 JH legs complete

I participated in my first AKC event over the weekend. I ran Dexter in the JH test on both days and received passing scores for both days. I think I'm hooked now and look forward to competing again for the final 2 legs. I didn't think I would enjoy the trials but I was wrong, what a blast.

He acts normal as far as energy level goes but doesn't like it when I try to touch or clean the spots. I've had a cone on his head for the last 3 weeks to pr...

My GSP has come down with some mysterious looking bumps on his ear, muzzle, legs and feet. He's been to the vet on 3 separate occasions the past 3 weeks. I left dexter at home this weekend for a guys camping trip. I got a call from my wife halfway to the site saying dexter got mad and carried some of my dirty clothes outside. I think that is his way of throwing a fit. He also pulled the covers off the bed and knocked over the bathroom trash can.

Looking for birds in Maine

I'm traveling to Maine this weekend to visit my parents. I'm taking my dog in hopes to find some wild Grouse on their property. I'm also looking for some farm raised birds in S. Maine near Portland as a backup. Does anyone know of a bird farm up there?

Thanks,

Dexter came out with a Prize III, my water work cost him. He was hesitant to get in the water at first but got in twice for them. I thought he would have got a 3 since no dead bird was used. They gave him a 2 for water but 4's for everything else. He did very well in the field and tracking.
