If my short memory is correct, :roll: we just voted and passed that Black and White is now a valid color in the GSPCA standards. That it was on its way to be passed by AKC. I'm still at a loss for words as this dog has done everything asked of her and more!!! She finished the weekend with a 2nd place in ALGD behind Dez for 2 more AFC points leaving her 2 ret points away from her AFC! As far as I know she is the first VC/DC she is the first of a lot of those title thing...

Thanks but this has nothing to do with my dogs and what I do with them again I DO NOT want to remove puppy and derby points from counting towards a FC/AFC I was just giving an option if for some reason they ever decided to not count.

I agree 100% that there are people saying they have "hunting" dogs because they're Junior hunters but what I can't see is somebody saying they have a FC because they achieved a Juvenile title... I don't think the point system will ever change but if it did how else would you get people interested in...

Maybe create a JFC JAFC title it'll help increase entries in some of the juvenile stakes..
Make it same requirements in regards to needing a major and numbers of dogs that need to be defeated as a FC and AFC

They ran 2 courses at both trials and were "filled" at both trials... I dont believe there were "bye" braces at the walking trial though I have that running order as well.

Well I guess it depends in what you define clean as if we're talking health then no there aren't any clean lines if you're talking clean as in recent pointer cross breeding then yes I feel there are lines that do not have pointer in them

So you very well could have produced a CD carrier, LD carrier, Dilute liver gene carrier, or even the dreaded E gene carrier and not known because you did not do the testing too see if they carry any of these genes but yet its unacceptable for somebody to breed a known carrier to a known non carrier...

The german standard applies in germany however we live in the United states. The only german thing in a shorthair is its name. The German standard goes for all German breeds.
