x2 with the emissions. My brother-in-law almost lost his 2 setters this fall due to CO poisoning. He had the crate on the back of the ATV with a cover over it to keep the dogs dry and out of the wind, it almost killed them. The same thing that blocked the wind kept fresh air out. The male pup let ou...

Re: A question for those who have lots of Experience with GSP's
I'm starting to see some advantages to that type of coat for northern hunters I would try and market that if I were you. Many people suggest a wirehaired dog for late season work but they collect iceballs. A nice thick coated GSP would do well in the latter part of the season. This dog has a beauti...

That sucks about the ankle. Busted my hand when I was 17 and it would be in a cast for the opening of duck and grouse hunting. Took a grinding bit on my dads drill to open it up enough to hold a shotgun. Can't do anything like that for your ankle though.

Nice pictures. I assume you are shooting as there is no pics of lurchers. The rabbits here are in the thick stuff, not much smooth, open ground for whippets or lurchers, and most people snare them. In the eastern part of the province running beagles is popular, around here some guys drive along the ...

Funny you should metion this topic. One of my pups had an incident yesterday and I posted this on another board. My wife called me at work to say that one of the dog's lips was swelling. Don't know if you are asking me but I will answer anyway.
He is 3 in the pic. If I had a grey bitch around I would look to get lurcher pup from him.
The willow ptarmigan and red grouse are the same bird, different subspecies.

If I horse around with the kids my male and female Bourbonnais get upset. They whine, bark and try to get between me and the kids. Nice work and handy looking dog. I will really try my JRTxBorder this year on rabbits, shot one over him last year while out for a walk in the woods and he retrieved it. He dug down through over a foot of snow to find what was left of one caught in a snare. http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o2/bdbh...

Just keep poking the "hernia" back in and it probably will stay after a while. As was stated previously it may not be a complete closure, should work by just pushing it back in. Try that and see before getting surgery.

DO NOT store that in a closed container. The pressure will build up from the chemical reaction. I have never seen them before, how do you like them, do you hunt them much. I like them, the temperament is calm in the home but turn it on outdoors.
