I may be biased, but I would agree with Vagas and Hanna's Elhew Lou. She has produced numerous winners and champions and her offspring are producing champions.

I like the way you think/hunt shadow. some of the people I hunt with think my dog runs to big for pheasant. It might be true but I would rather hunt alone with my dog than with a large group and no dog.

If she is not retrieving well, I would not take her out. Alot of dogs do not like to retrieve dove because of there feathers. I think that taking her out and trying to get her to retrieve the dove could be a set back in her retrieve training.
