I am going to start my 8 mos old GSP whoa using the whoa post method described in this forum and in books I have read. Each dog is different but I was wondering if I should do the drill every day and for what duration.

What could I attach to a roading harness to add resistance and be able to increase the anount as my dog gets stronger?

Will roading a dog with resistance increase the muscularity or the dog if done with increasing weight over a short distance. I imagine as in any training its good to give ample rest time in between traing sessions.

I have read a few articles on conditioning your dog by roading. Some suggest using a harness with resitance or weights to make the dogs use their muscles to pull and adding muscle to their frame.
