Re: Thoughts on age for NA test
I agree with the test young folks. I have seen many dogs get Prize I scores at 4 to 5 months. As stated above this largely depends on the maturity of the dog and the amount of exposure you have given him. If your dog is maturing fast and searching the field well why hold him back on his training? Ma...

Re: OK Waterfowl round 2!
Nice looking bunch of ducks and geese. We got out this morning also but couldn't get them to work in for us. Shot a few Ringnecks and Shovelers. Saw a lot of Geese but couldn't get them in. On Sunday before the season shut down for the split we had a good day though. http://i291.photobucket.com/albu...

Re: OK Pheasant day 2!!!!
That's a nice looking bag there. Some friends of mine went and did pretty well also. Four hunters and four limits. Nice to see the bird numbers up this year. Good to see your dad is still getting out, he looks good, tell him I said hi. http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll292/mbyer_photo/IMG00089-20...

Re: Kansas Prairie Chickens
Yes we were hunting with Doug. The first day he used Dash one of the young dogs. Dash is still trying to figure it all out. The second day he used Tulip, his older female. She hunted hard. The radio collared bird was actually shot by one of my friends who came along. The collar and band was put on b...

Re: Kansas Prairie Chickens
Shot us a few chickens last week, going back next week. They were sticking good which made some good dog work for my young dogs. Had one surprise, first time we got one of these, notice around the neck!

Daisy's test
Hi Jess,
Where are you testing Daisy this weekend?
Don't know if you knew I lost Sadie in January, so it's been a long 4 months. I have a couple of pups coming in May, nothing like starting over, but I can't wait to get back into the training routine.

Pigeons in OK
I'm new to the forum and have an excess of pigeons if anyone needs birds for training. I live north of OKC and sell the pigeons for $3 each. My cell phone is (405) 406-1956.
