Thanks, I learned something from you. So you are saying the process would be very expensive and the results could be inaccurate but it is possible? Expense is relative. I think it costs $3 billion to do the first human genome and now the costs are approaching $1000. That is still expensive from the...

I agree completely. Breed the poorest of the breed and they will tend to produce better. Breed the best of the breed and they will tend to produce poorer. Well I notice that in last years National Championship, that the tracker was pulled out for 5 out of the 39 dogs that ran. Of course, maybe these weren't good dogs or their mounted handlers and scouts were not good trainers. On the other hand, I would say on that day, they were too much dog.

One tip in addition to those already posted: depending on the degree of privacy you have, pee yourself in the yard where you want the dog to pee. She will smell it and scent mark on top of it. The bite is a physical attribute that is examined by the judges at NAVHDA tests and abnormalities recorded. The same is no doubt true of the European breed clubs. Many breed clubs may tolerate some malocclusion and missing teeth, what were formally called the P1 premolars. Missing P1s is a normal va...

If you are interested in improving dogs of various breeds, then this emphasis on eugenics and breed purity by the registries is a big mistake IMO and I am not alone in this view.
