your going to have to set it up like a trial . at least with a horse and other dog .that way you can get your correction in. They know you cant correct them at a trial so you have to set up a mock trial.

I would move the crate to your room the pup can hear you sometimes that's enough to stop the crying .I would set my alarm for every 3 hours to wake up and let the pup out .their bladder takes awhile to mature for them to hold it much longer. puppies are hard work but the payoff is worth it.

I had a similar problem the vet used ivermictin just in case it was mange .after spending over 500 $ on another vet to find the problem .
It cost me around 10$ to treat 3 dogs with ivermictin and was good in just a few days.

I like to have my pups retrieve a frozen quail in the yard before they get a fresh shot bird. I had my dog lay down on a piece of plywood traced it and cut it out.painted it white on one side red on the other.I use a metal frame from a yard sings some politician left in my yard so I can set it up and move it easy.

I had a dog do the same thing and they just pulled it .At the time the vet just charged me for a cleaning since they have to be asleep for that he said the pulling was simple.

I fill my pockets up with sunflower seeds. call them or whistle when they come give them a seed.Its cheap and has worked for my last four dogs.If they dont come fast enough when they turn start backing up the faster you back up the faster they will come.

welcome to brittany pup. You have to get the pup exercise .It is the only way I wave found that you can maintain control of them is if they are tired.My 6 month old just ate two tomatoes and just slid across the kitchen floor time for a run. bye.

If you wait till night you can go out with a flashlight shine the bird and catch it. I have done it with young birds that dont know how to use the bobs.

I think you have half the battle won the bird is using the platform.Sometimes I send my other bird out more often and in the excitement the stand out will go in.also like you said a little food on the platform maybe some just on the edge might help. you can also remove the bobs untill the bird uses ...
