My GSP is ~ 4.5 years old and had a litter of pups in June. We will breed the pup down the road but we won't be having any more litters with the dam. So, when would be the best time to spay her?

My first GSP had a very thin coat so I got a fleece vest for her to wear in between fields. It wouldn't work for hunting but sure worked great in between and even at home when it was REALLY cold out.

For the most part, our dogs get along very well but every once in awhile our young female will get a little snotty with the old female and will growl and show signs of dominance.
