I resent that comment! There is nothing wrong with calling to check on my "child" when she is at camp!! :D I have to make sure she is getting adequately spoiled and to make sure she's doing well with her studies... I am very sad that I forgot to send her a Halloween treat! haha

I vote for horses next year!!! I have a TON of pictures where most of the dogs are at least 500 yards out... Some of them are Finbo and I was lucky to be able to tell it was him... He's the white spot in the pics... These pups are AWESOME when it comes to their running ability. I've seen most of the...

GSP Mafia's Excellent Bird Hunting Adventure | 2009 Edition

The story of the GSP Mafia's first annual excellent bird hunting adventure... The journey started in Greenville, South Carolina on September 18, 2009 with myself, Doug and Jordan. We left Greenville on a sunny Friday afternoon, loaded up with hunting gear and our pups, Maebyn and Finley. As is typic...

We are encountering our first heat cycle with our GSP Mae... we have a pair of "Bitches Britches" and I just bought a pair like what Pam suggested (picked them up tonight from PetCo)... so far we haven't had any trouble with Mae chewing on her britches, but she has managed to get them off a few time...

Re: Introducing a GSP to water

We started our pup in the pool when she was 9 weeks old... We would just hold her in the water, so she got used to it and then let her kick and swim to the stairs... she wasn't a big fan at first, mainly because she was still small and couldn't always tell where the way out was. We also took her to ...

Bruce really did an awesome job on this litter... the pups are great and are certainly turning out the way we all hoped they would - very birdy, learning fast and absolutely beautiful! Our female GSP has gotten sick twice when riding in the car and drools a good bit when she's riding in the back seat. I've found that putting her in her crate in the back seat cures her.
