Brought home this little (runt) girl two weeks ago Friday. She is working out fabulous for us. Initially purchased for my fiancee to trial, she has since resorted to becoming attached to my hip and now has a spot under my desk during the day... She is grand daughter to Rawhide Clown on the top, and ...

How does Chopper handle? He was a handful when he was younger but has always been very biddable. He would be out of voice range and it would appear that he wasn't handling but once I whistle broke him he handled great. I'm not a huge fan of whistle breaking my dogs but sometimes it's necessary. My experience with Rockacre dogs hasnt been prime to say the least. They seem to have a higher frequency of having "screws" loose. My reccomendation is rule 1. NEVER SET YOUR DOG UP TO FAIL. Don't put you dog into a situation that will do more harm than good. IE, (1)In a stressful/confusing situation with alot of people and other dogs if the dog is not used to that. (2)Alot of gunfire and excitement if the dog is not used to t...

Scott,
Opinions of trialers has became limited on this forum. I'll email you a site where your opinion and input would be appreciated better. Some people don't understand that strong trial breeding betters the overall breed.

Though not my first "gun" I purchased a Remington 1100 synthetic when I was 14. I shot my first birds with that gun, and carried it along on many hunting trips. I also won my first trial with that gun and carry it in almost everyone since. I have since purchased numerous other guns, but somehow they...

There is no reason for there to be any argument? Discussion is about exchanging ideas. Debating merits of something is a good thing. I've never had this happen. Possibly because everyone uses multiple whistle blasts and this is just a short low "toot" but good point. Also might have something to do with the dog acknowledging I'm not actually around them to release. IDK, but so far so good.... We put plenty of W's up this year wit...
