All, Please be careful as you respond to Scott's request and take a second to read his question. A simple request of what the outcome was is all that was asked. I have read all of the secretary notes and to the best of my knowledge, the outcome of this was never documented. Why did I personally care...

Why not just keep him as a pet...most rescues are rescues because of an issue they will not overcome. Most times the time and money spent on a dog like that is way more than just getting another hunting dog. Ain't nothing wrong with him being just a pet...you did a great thing by rescuing him. Down in the southeast there are a bunch (I believe 8) walking trials per year. The only reason there are this many down here is because there are multiple clubs willing to support each other to fill up the trial entries and there is a small group of people that run the trials and are committed to ha...

I would hold onto the dog and enjoy it if you can't part with her. Most health guarantees are dealt with by replacing the dog with a pup from another litter. The dog world is a small one and reputation especially when competing and breeding dogs is everything. If you really enjoy the dog and want to...

There are so many things I really like about this breed. You do need to be real careful of which breeding you chose, there are lines I have seen and experienced with some aggression issues, but most breeders try real hard to get rid of these traits. With the right coat, there is no reason one who no...
