The obvious answer to me is shoot 1 bird at a time. 1 bird with each rise. That way if getting limits is your forte, get them over more dog work. What's funner; 10 birds over 3 points or 10 birds over 10 points?

I hunt 40+ days a year, my dogs are trained to be steady to flush, break at shot. Occasionally depending on the dog, they will break at flush. A lot of first time dog folks on here. Kenetrek is a "bleep" fine boot. I have literally worn the soles flat on 2 pair. I didn't think that was possible, the boot usually breaks down before the soles do.
