I've never had a female Weim but currently have my 2nd male. It seems that your dog's dimensions are within an acceptable variance from the breed "standards" without worrying about it too much. IMHO

I do this with my Weim whenever it's cool enough. One of the few ways that I have to get him out for exercise that will tire him out. He is full of go and we have routes ranging from 3-9 miles. Surfaces vary between concrete, grass, and gravel.

I have one on my 11-87 Upland Special...............honestly I didn't notice a difference one way or the other with it. But it may help with the eye dominance issue that you have. Good luck!
