I know i already told you this, but if you are looking into trainers in the DFW market, you need to give Calvin Blackburn a call. You can find his website on line, but if you have any questions you can PM me and I would be happy to answer them.

I am glad to see your pup is doing well.

I am going to go on a limb and sa that if it is a jetsetter bred pup, it is not from Open Range kennel. If that pup is in oklahoma or kansas (aka....owner is from that region), odds are that the female is heavy in See Johnny Run or TM Patriot. Jason Patty of skyview setters has bred to jet a few tim...

LBJ national grasslands. It is an hour north west of Ft. Worth. There are 11,000 acres set aside solely for training bird dogs. Looking at it from a different perspective.....maybe it is to encourage new people to the sport. Think about it. Alot of new people are hesitant to trial because they are intimidated by it. They think their dog has no chance against seasoned trial competition. So they just don't attend the trial. Th...

There are plenty down here electric. You just have to know the people. Some of the most respected setter people in the country are in the south. Terry Tuley from Arbuckle Kennels, Jerry Lewis who bred and trained See Johnny Run, Dale Bush who owns the Barn Owl line of setters.....the list goes on. G...

I feed between 530 and 630 nightly. I kennel between nine and 10. They go out twice between dinner and kennel time. That gives them two chances to do their business. Normally they go within an hour of eating. If not, they wait until the morning. I would have no problem feeding up to an hour and a ha...
