I have a litter mate to your dog, I wouldn't expect to much out of them this fall as they are only going to be 10months old going into hunting season . Mine appears to have good style and slowly adjusting to life in my kennel. Good luck with yours , they will make Good prospects

In my opinion the lack of information from the source does nothing but create additional headaches that they force on themselves. if the AFTCA was a little more forth coming with the why and how etc. may be people could have a better understanding of what their issue really is?????

I never teach a bird dog to sit for the same reasons,it creates problems when pressure is applied. Did you teach him whoa and then make him sit?

It would make a difference to me if the first dog brought back a warm bird or a bird that had obviously been dead for a long time.I would not penalize the second dog for picking it up and bringing back to its handler. If it was warm,I would pick the first dog up.
