I dont think the VZ dogs you named were ever trialed but as LBH mentioned some of their offspring are trialing and have points.VZ is a very reputable breeder and a very good man to deal with.

My brother in law is visiting from Arkansas and wanted to go for a hike and see the pointing dog thing so we went looking for quail in southern Utah. Quail season is over so we only shot a few pics, moved a few coveys in a few hours...

A truly smart dog can be an unbelievable PIA to train and keep trained. A dog that is both smart and soft of disposition can be an absolute nightmare to train. Buck shouldnt be much of a threat, he laid around and got fat this summer. I think Lantz is running Blayzee in all the gundog stakes.We ll try to take some pics.
