Puppy Eating Poo
How can I stop my 9 month old lab from eating poo? I’m sure he’s healthy but somewhere along the way he started eating poo. Pretty sure it started with frozen poo, but now he’s eating anything. Realty frustrating me and it occasionally leads to diarrhea. Are those food additives helpful?

Thanks all. Both the initial vet and follow up vet never heard anything in his lungs, they were only able to see it on the x-ray. I was mostly trying to get others opinions because I think our vet sometimes recommends things that can be way over protective. I’ll probably error on the side of caution...

I’ll probably lean towards what my vet said but hoping to get some other opinions. My 10.5 year old lab was diagnosed with a mild case of pneumonia on 12-3 and was put on antibiotics. A follow up x-ray on 12-8 showed significant improvement and he’s remained on meds. The vet is recommending a final ...

Have a 5 month old lab that has gotten in the habit of waking up at 3 or 4 am and barking until being let out of his crate at 5:30. The parents have hunting ability and there are plenty of titles in the line. So within that litter, it sounds like I’ll most likely get a pup with some level,of hunting ability and should focus on temperament.

How often does a well bred litter produce a stinker of a pup. A pup that can’t hunt or won’t he not or is just bad at hunting? Obviously training can play a part but is it pretty rare that a bad pup is produced ?

We have to pay more for un-neutred dogs in IL as well. This biggest reason we are getting our dog neutred is that we don't have the most secure yard and with all of the dogs in our area i don't really want him getting the scent of a female in heat. he could be out of our yard and gone in seconds.
