Been a long time since I was a man with a dog. Too long! The time has come that I get back into it. Last time I picked out the lines I wanted I picked out Rawhides Clown line but was also interested in dogs Wildrose used to breed. It has been a long time like I said. Why would anyone use that product on a regular basis for a dog. Are you using it primarily for the ivermectin or praziquantel? Is there a reason why your pup needs praziquantel? There is a very wide fundamental difference between the Amateur Field Trial Clubs of America and the shoot to kill venues of NSTRA. I think you right have got that wrong the STR in NSTRA stands for Shoot To Retrieve. As far as killling goes, That realy has no part in Bird dogs used for HUNTING! :ro...

Don't get me wrong, for fieldtrialing the AA is where the cream is, and for that venue I would always shoot for AA, but for a dog that I can play some games with ie SD, GD, NSTRA, NAVDA and hunt I like those breed from AA that don't have all that run. If we all agree that the ability to handle wild birds is the bench mark for a bird dog, then why do we also look at the AA dogs as the end all of bird dogs? I understand the style and RUN that it takes to be an AA but I don't know of alot of AA dogs that are actually hunted. Most just have way too m...
