Given how there is absolutely no purse money or prizes in retriever field trialing, yet that game has seen all these supposed benefits I'd rather see us pointing dog folks get rid of all purses/prizes/etc than up them.

He can't be AFC (Amateur Field Champion). His owners are pros. He certainly can be an AFC; ownership has no bearing on whether a dog can or can't become an Amateur Field Champion. Walking wins or placements should say just that and be listed as walking. Winning a 20 dog walking stake is a far cry from winning a Horseback stake with 20 dogs with multiple pros with championship caliber dogs. Alot of difference in the dogs. I don't know how many dogs run on the east coast but to have a FC or AFC beat a dog that's better then the other 25+ dogs is ridiculous.
