We had one up in the top of the barn the pigins used for nesting. Dad would go and get the little ones and he had squab for dinner. He ate stuff I just couldn't, like rocky mountain oysters, the ones from our cows and the ones I brought back from my cousins hog lot after we cut 200 piggies. Cut pull...

Our hearts were broken last week when a 29 year old police officer was shot down by the person she was serving a warrant on. He had a glock with a 50 round drum mag, he was also shot and killed. Never had an issue removing them. Use a vet and ensure no issues if you are worried about it. Bleeding is the only thing I can see might be a problem. little growls and barking. Was a lot of fun.

I do as momma dog does, grab the muzzle and close it, I add the don't bite command. A few times of this they give up, I do give them a chew toy to help with the teeth cutting (New teeth coming in). If that don't work then they go to the floor until they give up.

I also might add that the pointing breeds have multiple venues, like NAVHDA, GSPCA, etc. Something for every one. What will you be doing with the dog? Competition? Pure hunting? Lap dog watching TV with you? This may get you on the right track. A network is a group of like minded folk sharing ideas,...

Depends on the dog and the training method. If inside dog, then use a ball and roll it down the hallway, pup on a long leash. Pup gets ball you gently pull him to get him started your way, not a heavy pull just a small amount of pressure. Until he does it all by himself, you will have a better chanc...

Let pup be a pup, Old Delmar said to happy time the pups but dont train until 1 year of age. Buy the book, read it and learn how to train like a real dog man. Continue as you are and you may mess that pup up. Do not let it catch even 1 bird. Let the gun work be for awhile.

Re: Tips to make dog stop whining...
Water in a squirt bottle for in house, hose for outside dogs keeps them all quit. Now when anyone drops by, dogs start barking, I can just say quite down now and silence from them. I can also say kennel up and they head in single file to the kennel
repetition gets it and consitant training.
