you can also have your vet do a simple blood test after 28 days. Its called a Witness Relaxin Test. We do them in our office. As far as accuracy..at this point we have done prob. 50 or more and evey one so far has been right. Its not expensive. but either is just waiting

Frontline will work on ticks quite well, but it sounds like you are in a hotbed. Use a Preventic collar with the frontline. It will only kill ticks. It is safe to use with Frontline. Albon is used to treat Coccidia. Metronidazole(Flagyl) is used for Giardia. You can also use a 3 day course of Panacur. Giardia is very hard to pick up on a stool sample, that is why alot of vet. hosp. will send them to the lab.
