Re: Exceptional Littermates
Angus is long and lean and weighs around 55 pounds right now. I don't have a good picture on this computer, but this is one of my daughter and him. I will try to get some more pictures of him posted in the next few days. http://s613.photobucket.com/albums/tt212/ja_drane/?action=view¤t=KendraAn...

Re: Grouse and Woodcock in Missouri
I usually find a few woodcock every year, but they are incidentals. I have never found more than 2 in a day. Most of the areas I hunt are dominated by crp, so it is not ideal habitat though. I have never even seen a live grouse, but know people that have hunted them in the state. I think I read on t...

Re: Chickens Round Two.
Anyone ever try hunting chickens around Marysville, KS? It is around 2 hours from me and according to the walk in map there are some areas that hold birds.
Thanks,
Jason

Chicken and rice is back here, but now the lamb and rice is gone (it was available the whole time the chicken was gone).

Re: What breed of dog would you NEVER want to own?
I will only comment on ones that I have either owned, or been around quite a bit. 1. Jack Russel - way too hyper all the time 2. Yorkie - the one we had was not as hyper as the Jack Russel, but it was so small and quick I was always afraid I was going to step on it, and the one my aunt has is as mea...

Re: What type of shotgun are you using for your bird hunts?
I mostly shoot my Beretta AL390, but picked up an American Arms Derby SXS to try this year. Always wanted a double, and thought the price was too good to pass up. There seem to be lots of good/decent deals on used guns out there right now.

Re: Well he came a bit early...
I think that all the initial training will be him training you. But like all good trainers, he probably has you making changes already without you even realizing it. The trouble will begin when you try to rebel and train him. Congratulations, it will be lots of work, but well worth it each and every...

Everything looks nice and green, should be some good cover for the fall and winter. Must be getting some good rain down there.

Mine has been gone for about a week, kids ask if it is time to pick him up almost every day. It is going to be a long 2 months.

I usually find my shorthair in the driver's seat. I am not sure if he doesn't like my driving, or if he just wants to make sure we are going somewhere with birds.

Re: pigeons
Hey guys, I am in St. Joe also, and I am in need of some pigeons for training a pup, especially if you have a spot to catch them. PM me if you need some help.
