Scott is all "saddled up" and back in the game! Living outside of Holdredge NE and training with Josh Nieman of Quail Canyon Kennels in Elwood. These two are having a ball, one running pointers and the other running shorthairs.

I'm from the area and hunt 30-40 days a year within 3-5 hours east of Fort Collins. Solid pheasant numbers on the Colorado/Nebraska/Kansas border. I believe one of the heavy rusty bred dogs still alive is Pat Waresk's Eddi dog. Pat also has some straws of Gabe that he has not yet decided how to use. He's busy down in Booneville right now but you can look at these pedigrees on his web site. His kennel name is Bustin' Loose Kennels.

Had a chance to catch the OSD "Call Backs" yesterday. Bandit's manners were impeccable with very nice style. Was also told that he "ate-up" the course. He is a wonderful animal, big and powerful and "easy" on the eyes. Congrats!

Open AA ran yesterday with 1 brace left this morning. It is my understanding only 2 dogs through clean. Drew the ASD last nite that starts this morning. Clean dogs I believe were Hanna and Penny. Windy conditions yesterday did not help / but it is Wyoing! Wont be back up til this weekend.

Mark down at Wrangler Kennels just bred to Chandlers Jocko dog / both sire and dam are direct son and daughter of Marshall (Dixielands Smokin Freedom). Skip Bond in Seneca, MO......straight shooter and has owned and been around some great ones. His Alabi dog is a very well bred BrownL dog. Alot of Alabi's "get" are in everyones kennels. 417-624-8449 / catch him around lunch or in the evenings.
