Re: GoPro Hunting Videos

Go to a narrow field of view so the birds don't seem so far out there.

Re: Looking for a Trainer in the midwest

Just to be clear, I don't have any experience with Tom (dale creek) just with Jeff. Tom has a great reputation in the area and I have heard great things about him.... The mixed reviews were purely hear say and not meant to discredit Tom in anyway. I just had personal friends with dog's that were ver...

Re: Looking for a Trainer in the midwest

http://www.lumpyskennels.com in Wisconsin. I just had my britt there and she is doing great. My buddies britt was there too. I was concerned with my dog being softer and dale creek had mixed reviews on softer dogs. I wanted to go to dale creek as they are 5 miles from my house and might have with a ...

Re: Unregisterd GunDogs

I hunt with two other dogs on a regular basis. My dog has papers but never filed them since we had her fixed anyway. The other two dogs don't have any papers at all. In fact, one was a rescue dog from here and is #1 or #2 dog of the three. Not sure there is any difference between the three dogs exep...

Re: silicon cup cake cups

We had a similar issue with 1/2 of a tennis ball. The dog would play with it and one day bit it in 1/2 and then swallowed it. Very expensive to get back after surgery on the parts afte the stomach (can't rember which). Be careful with tennis balls too.

Re: French Brittany HELP

I have a French and at 2 years old I would state that shedding isn't an issue. This may change as she gets older but right now if I roll around on the floor with her I don't find hair all over me. She is small at 30 pounds and calms down nicely when in the house and loves to be a lap dog. Outside an...

Re: Question on hip Xray

Breeder would give me $375 (1/2 of cost) back if I returned the dog. I figure the divorce and counseling for the kids that hate their dad that gave away their dog would probably be more expensive

Question on hip Xray

My little girl just turned two and based on today's hunt is progressing nicely. When we got her we were looking for a good family dog and hunting dog but were not interested in breeding her and have since had her fixed. We did do research and both parents and they had good hip ratings but now we are...

Re: New puppy laying on point

I try to avoid snake with a dog or not. Lucky for us, they are not dangerous ones here. I would rather not say the breeder. I really like our dog but not sure I want to promote the breeder. Nothing wrong with the dogs(atleast as far as I know) but I did take exception to some other items. That being...

The lead was about 30 feet and we would let her run off while allowing lead to go through our hand. As she reached the end we slowed here down and then stopped her.

New puppy laying on point

We have a 12 week old French Brittany and were playing with pigeons last night. We had gone through getting her excited about them on previous days while holding them and had let her watch them fly away. I planted a bird last night (her first) and she ran right over the top of it, locked up and turn...
