Ben Garcia has a very good summer training program and camp. Very good. Very hard working. I recommend him highly.

If she is two years old, exhibits no pointing desire, and doesn't seem to be the sharpest stick in the forest, it may be time to cut your losses and look for a dog that is a natural pointer. I agree with Mountaindogs and the other people. I have a question. Describe how you handled the velcro bird and the puppy chasing the bird. Did you have the pup on a lead? If so, how did you stop the pup?

I think it is ok to layer commands that they already know but you need to keep your sessions short. I screwed up my first pup because I was so gung ho.
Don't repeat a command until they get it wrong. Quit while your are ahead. Split up your one long session into two or 3 short ones.

All that a title means is that you have the opinion of other people (Judges) besides just the breeder. A title means that knowledgeable people have looked at the dog and considered it to be the best dog at an event. A Title means that the dog has been under judgment numerous times with different jud...

It's amazing to me how varied the costs are for pet care. In Holbrook, AZ cats go from $30 to $40, male and female. A female dog in Snowflake goes for $130. On another note, my vet in Phoenix will do an OFA x-ray for $70 plus the $30 or 35 application fee. (not sedated). In Taylor my vet charges $23...

An ecollar should not be about pain. A whoa post is not about pain. Both of those tools are about cueing your dog much like you see show handlers pop the lead when they want to turn the dog, make it heel, or make the dog stop. Once again it is establishing a point of contact (show handlers and obedi...

I think its an act to get you to turn off the stimulation. The half hitch should be under the flank, not on the dogs back.
