The AKC stopped publishing total numbers of registrations around 2010 I think since it was becoming too obvious that they were in steep decline. Yes, I am aware of the non-tox offerings from RST (Niceshot). The problem is that its availability is spotty..and the price is just south of a kidney per shot. That said, I would use it if I could get it. But it always seems to be out of stock in 20 gauge. And I agree...,mmmm butter!!
