Dog Den 1 w or w/o Hound Heater?
I have another puppy coming in a few weeks and I need to get another dog house. I live in northern Iowa and we have had over 30 days of sub-zero temps so far this Winter. My current dog houses are heated with heating pads that I remove in the Spring and re install in the Fall when I hook up the wate...

Just wondering how long to road the dogs and how fast been doing it three days a week for 1/2 hour around 18mph lookin for what others do I have had the best results by letting the dogs run ahead of my pickup on the gravel road. Re: Closed Breed Field Trials
IMO, closed trials are bad for the sport of field trialing. With the price of fuel at $4.00/gal, I had to choose between sitting at home or spending $200-300 to drive past 2 closed trials to find a trial that would accept my chosen breed. When I am called to judge a trial, the first question I ask i...

Re: stud horse at an FT
I have never seen a field trial premium that forbid stud horses on the grounds, and I have never heard of an AKC or AF rule stating that they were not allowed. I have seen studs being ridden at more than a few trials, and they caused a lot fewer problems than your typical mare in heat. What would a ...
