Birds need about 14 hours of light to lay eggs. Depending on where you live you will have to keep them under artificial light to keep them laying year round. I had my chickens and coturnix quail under lights and they laid almost an egg every day. fertile eggs?!?! thats what i was searching for?!?! ...

i run it on my dogs in point mode only....i noticed lately on quails that it does make the quails to run but not flush..... woodcocks it didn't matter to them. pheaseants i have no idea.... wild chukars will flush immediately when they hear the sound.

i am only interested in pheaseants and chukars...... but am wodering how can i make my stock grow bigger and bigger..... if i got 1000chukars lets say 200 males and 8000females..... they will only lay eggs during the season or i can make them lay eggs whenever i want and put it in an incubator?!

guys i need help in opening my own business in my country. can anyone guide me a bit on how to raise the birds, how can i hatch them to have all the time game birds, can i make the eggs fertile with a certain product or should i wait for nature to take its course.... i need help. thank you!

Ruth where i live we dont keep pedigrees or anything....we have the dogs from generation to generation...... i live in the middle east, they dont believe in pedigree. lol

he used to always growl when it comes to his food, he is 2 years old, i hand feed him, remove the bowl nd put it back all the time, but lately he is peing a bit. Even when eating from my hand he growls nd eat.

i was reading on the forum,that i can put nails in a sock nd glue feathers on it. I tried it nd he didnt chew at all. But the bird is soft nd am scared he is gona chew it again. Some help please.

at first he used to refuse to retrieve, after a lot of training he started retrieving birds in a great way. 2day i have no idea what happened he chewed the birds! He broke their bones nd i could c ther internal organs. Please help.

so far he encountered around 15 wild quails, 1 wild woodcock.
penraised birds around 50!
am training him everyday, he points sometimes but he is still not sure of wut he is doing. even when he flush the bird i tell him to stay, he doesnt chase it.
he is gona be 2 years in february!

its not about the money and cost! its about the vets here! they dont have the necessary equipments and tools for the right tests! i wish i lived abroad! i will ask my vet next week if he can do the tests. after reading ur post and getin it all in my head i am noticing that last year at the same time...

everytime i used frontline i noticed the hair on the back like standing up, but it never crossed my mind that it could be an allergy or something until now when the hair looked this way thin and falling. i started prednisone today and zyrtec. will tell u how it goes in 7 days. thank you

he said its related to food. i trust my vet. hope in 7 days the dogs will be better. am gona switch to nutragold for allergies.

The vet told me to give him prednisone for 7 days and zeertec for 7 days. he doesnt know wut kind of allergie the dog have, he named smthing but i dont really remember the name. i think this started to happen when i started using frontline, i dunno if some dogs develop this, even the hair looks like...

my pup of 1 and 7months years old was diagonised with an allergie and its making his back hair thin and fall. the vet gave me prednisone and zyrtec.
i was reading that prednisone had a lot of side effects and when i started using it, my pup sometimes peed without being able to control it.

i am shooting woodcoks and now this in the only wild bird(open season) we have and as woodcok hunters u all know that at least we have to walk 3 to 4 hours to find them in here, its a bit uncomfortable not shooting them! in 2 days am going there i will keep him on the CC and if he flush i wont shoot...
