I saw my first view the other day in the cabela's catalog. The thing that stood out to me is that you can add collars to the transmitter to make a 2,3, or even up to a 6 dog system. Kinda like the old Innotek's, which I thought was a neat feature. Otherwise I'm as clueless about these as most folks.

We, dog and I, are qualified for regional and species championships. Seems like a real stretch but kinda cool.

Our high temps just broke here. I had 109-114 heat indexes too. Them dogs are tired of being cooped up, me too. I plan to start roading again tommorrow morning for a 1/2 hour. Take the edge off the dogs a bit.

My dog actually seems to keep weight on better and have a better coat with Pro Plan Adult Chicken and Rice than he does on Pro Plan Performance. Both good formulas but I think an individual dog may do better on one than the other.

I agree with Dave 100%. Keep the ecollar on when ever training or hunting. The only time mine don't wear it is trialing or testing. Can usually fool them for half hour.

The master level is really becoming a big thing around here. We are starting to gte a lot more entries from NAVHDA people, which is great to see.

This spring most area tests had around 15 or so MAster braces per day.
