No offense mate but you set your pup up to fail. How was the scent cone supposed to get to the dog under the tree? Doubt the grouse walked to the tree & climbed up. I used the EA for a bit but my setters just didn't like it. I couldnt get them to eat it & they looked like pound puppies. I went to ppp and no problems. My boy Jax doesnt keep weight on well this time of year but then he is the top dog & gets hunted 3-4 days a week.

We get a big robin migration where I live in VA. My previous llew Duff & my current male Jax both catch them in numbers. It has been a real setback for Jax. He thinks he can catch birds. Just a strong prey drive. He will learn!

No way you are getting 30mpg with a liberty pulling anything unless you have a diesel one. My liberty getts 22-24 hwy by its self but even with a puny 4x8 with less than 400lbs on it drops that milage down to 14-15 mpg. With my lawn equipment and the 6x12 (roughly about 2k lbs) is getts 10-12 mpg.
