Same here. I have had quite a few Labs and Goldens. They didnt shed any more before or after their heat cycles. I think maybe a lot of females come into heat in the spring which is when most dogs shed any ways? idk?

I don't care how much chicken the kibble does or does not have, the fact that it has corn in it is enough of a reason for me not to want to use it. :roll:

I have a very hard time keeping weight on Leena. She is currently eating Healthwise, but she is getting skinny on it. If I give her enough to keep weight on, she gets diarrhea from having too much food. She cant really tolerate any of the performance foods either..I think they are too rich.

Besides his underweight state, you can tell he has some sort of allergy by his red feet and his nails are very very long.

My 8mo GSP gets a food that is Protein: 32% Fat: 18% Calories: 375 kcal/cup. Every other food she wouldnt keep weight on.

My BF works at a bike shop and has access to flat/bike useless tubes, I'll have to give this a try. My Lab has a set of Muttluks which are great.

My 8mo GSP tends to want to run away/not listen as well when she doesnt have as much exercise, (usually if its been stormy). I try and give her an hour run, (off lead), 2x/day.

Very true, mountain dog. Some vets even say the male can still breed up to a month after he was neutered. So, the sooner the better before she comes into heat!

Yes, getting him neutered is the best option if you dont want puppies. I am waiting a bit to get my female spayed as well.

I dont think the neutering will have any effect on his hunting. Five years old isnt too bad to be going under.
