Re: NSTRA registration...

It is in the preliminary stages but it looks like the NSTRA registry will be taken over by the UKC registry so I would assume that they will be added to the list also. I would think and HOPE that a decision on this UKC deal would be put up as a vote by the membership and NOT just be made by the boa...

Re: American Brittany Rescue

I have fostered for both ABR and NBRAN and this is how I work. First off I will not even post my foster on the website for at least a month and sometimes even longer. It takes time to read the dog and figure out all their little quirks that each and everyone of them have. And believe me, They are al...

Re: Clipping/Shaving a Brittany's coat for hunting?

an alternative to clipping him down would be to go the your local farm store and look in the equine area for some show sheen.Spray the feathered areas of your dog with it and brush it in. makes the coat slippery and allot of the burs wont stick in the fur and the ones that do are removed much easier...

Re: 32x NSTRA 6x AmCH Nolan's Last Bullet

This is truly a sad day.I'm proud to say that not only did I get to meet Buddy and watch him run on many occasions but that I am also owned by one of Buddy's progeny. Buddy was truly an exceptional Brittany and will be missed by many. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to Nolan at his time of loss. Tim & ...

If you want to try the 3/4 oz loades I would use the remington hulls as they seem to be a bit deeper for some reason and tend to hold more but they don't crimp as nicely . acording to the lyman book you can use 16gr of H110 , win 209 primer and a waa41 wad and get a velocity of 1200 fps with the 3/4...

I use a Mec 77 sizemaster for a press . use winchester hulls and claybuster AA replacement wads. as for powder i use 15 gr of hogden H110 with a win 209 primer and 11/16 oz of shot . Or you can use the same amount of 296 powder and same components . either 1 is not a bad load .
