If you are just looking for birds to train with, I wouldn't bother with game farms. I would just get pigeons, that would be the cheapest route. If you catch them they would be free.

Ted I wasn't pointing at your post. Maybe I was a little over the top with my post, I just don't agree with the way some people communicate their convictions. I love how people try to protect their dogs and the way they try to protect GSP's in general. It can be done in a more tactful way though.

WI would have to be the worst. No birds here. The few grouse you come across are rabid and will attack your dogs. Michigan and Minnesota are much better. No birds here no need to come. :lol: :lol:

The last thing I would consider when picking would be color. With that being said I do like the darker colors. Not much on the white color. Doesn't have to be solid, just dark.
