Dave, I have had this talk with you before as well as others. I realize we are on two different sides of this, so normally I would hold my breath. However there are new people that read info so I will just type a few of the things that have already been covered a few times. Except there were FCI dog...

Re: Do You Believe The AKC GSP Standards Are Flawed??
The Germans did allow some AKC breeding for a very short period. Look at Donko's ped. FC G-T Heidi and go back on her pedigree. Actually the Germans allowed NADKC and only the NADKC to bring in a little "American" blood. The reason being was they did not have the pool of dogs to work with in the st...

Yes AKC will register them. Yes there are dogs titled in both venues. However the hardcore DK guys will not use the AKC. They will register them in NAVHDA however, at least more readily than AKC.mountaindogs wrote:AKC will register them and there are many dogs registered and titled in both venues.

Re: Do You Believe The AKC GSP Standards Are Flawed??
[quote="vzkennels" GSPS are not allowed to be registered as DKS so why should it be the other way around.[/quote] A GSP cannot be registered as a DK because of one simple reason. GSPCA does not have the standards that DKV does. To breed a DK both parents have to pass a hunt test, a conformation test...

Choke collars can be very harmful to dogs. It can cause irreversible damage to them. Do a Google search and you will see what I am saying. When used correct I haven't seen anything that is better then a pinch collar. Don't let them pull against it cause it will have no effect. You have to give a lit...

phillipsgsp those letters you see after the dogs names aren't titles really. DK's have to go through testing before they can be bred.
