Best thing I ever bought is a shedding blade, took out incredible amounts of the hair the first time I used it. I'm still gonna shave, sorry clip, him later this month but the blade helped in the mean time.

Re: Raising Quail Chicks 101 Questions
I did it one time and apparently the complete waste of time it was for dog training didnt truly hit me because I did it again the next year. For dog training, its not at all worth it. Its highly unlikely you will be able to flight condition the birds for quality training. Buy a couple dozen eggs and...

He was around a new dog last weekend for a couple of days but not now. Thats it though. He ran pretty well today, ate all his dinner, acting fine now, doesnt seem sick at all. Obviously I'll have to wait a few more days to see if it keeps up before spending money at the vet. I guess i'll just try to...

I have a 6 year old britt who just over the last couple of days has begun showing crazy seperation anxiety. Everyday I put him away while I go to classes, just three or four hours usually, and up till this week, it was never a problem. These last few days though he has whined and barked and I return...

Theres not a chance on gods green earth that the game commission will put as much effort into stocking and habitat recovery for bobwhite quail as they have pheasant. the age of the bobwhite in pa left with the farmers. I was afraid that would be the same problem with reintroducing pheasant, although...

heard some places are doing real well and others not so much. I think its more than just the cover, there are so many hawks in pa its ridiculous, and the federal government treats them like they're made of gold. I'm not saying have at them with a hunting season but I think its about time they get ta...

Seems like only 10 or 15 years theyve been numerous in PA, now they're absolutely everywhere. game commission is even telling us now that theyre probably coyote wolf hybrids, explains why some are the size of german shepherds

I've been trying to get him on some grouse, but the ruff hunting in NEPA aint what it used to be. Go with the wrangler, I'm drivin a 93 YJ as my daily driver now, I can get about 20 mgp. I'm sure you'll be driving it to school right mostly? For that back and forth driving less then 10 miles 20 mpg is all you'll need IMO.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on the diamondback water snake identification. Looks like you've got a nerodia rhombifer that's a little lost.

Even being a Britt owner myself, I have to admit that after a long day of hunting, Brittneys are not the prettiest dogs on point. Hair all dirty and mangled and full of mud. But you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way.

Only gotta do it once probably before she...
