ok went & saw the pups sunday spoke with the breeder and there was a mutual misunderstanding. So long & short I put a deposit down and will be visiting the pups weekly and have first pick on pick up day. They are ready to go at 8 wks. Hmm swore I put the word PAST in there. Now I'm sure these dogs are crap as I've been told by a specific member (as he then tells me he has pups available) but I've noticed a few of the peoples dogs on here have dogs from the same blood somewhere in the lines. potl = pick of the litter and Chief, Clown & City Slicker seem to be well known dogs and have several dogs who are past or current champions in the lines.

Ok sire is heavily patched and roaned. Dam is liver head mostly white with some ticking. All pups are patched most are showing some ticking but only two are roan like the sire.

Well as I said saw the sire and was impressed. Dams still fresh off a litter so just saw a video of her and was happy. Once I see the pups I'll know for sure but I'm already lookin for names

Just saw an ad for pups. Dams side city slicker cheif and clown sires side has clown and city slicker. Both have some ft but mainly pure hunting lines. Sire & dam both 55-60lbs. Dont know much else as I didn't speak with them long.

Health is a concern of mine as well but if both dogs come from healthy lines while still a risk it should be a lot lower. Not any different then purebred breeding.s

Knew a guy who had a gsp lab mix. Beautiful dog and hands down the best huntin dog I've ever seen. Could run all day like a gsp and swim like a lab. I've never brushed any of my dogs teeth but do regularly give milkbones and every other month a big raw knuckle. I've never heard any complaints from the vet.

I keep a e-collar on mine anytime he is at a park. He is two completely different dogs depending on if he's wearing it or not.

I may be mistaken but I believe Trigger is the brother of my dog Ranger. Ranger has had very little training on pigeons but turning him loose in a field on wild birds he does pretty well on his own. Now if only I could get some water work done I'd be happy.

Yup meal moth larvae and was told it's been spotted in several bags of different brand foods. Seems to be a problem since plants can't find it as eggs and they develop after being packed.

Those wessels look nice. The one I saw looked just like that but with a full tail and more of a lab coat. I've never again seen such a dog.

So my gsp whines throws a fit if he's outside in temps below 50°. I live in Az so its not often it gets really cold but he sleeps indoors in a crate at night but is outside during the day.
