rear dew claw

My Bernese has a rear dew claw that was either: not removed as an infant, a double dew claw that was missed, or not completely removed and grew back. It was something along those lines as she didn't have any on her rear legs when we brought her home, but within the first week or two we noticed one. ...

Typically, if dogs are altered before they are done growing, it changes they way the grow. They will usually grow a little taller and narrower. Temperament is hit and miss. Ezzy, Say the two foods I am pondering are as similar as I think they are.... Would the higher percentage of protein and fat 27/12, in and of itself, be a good enough reason to feed the puppy food to growing pups and nursing mothers over the adult ALS version which is 21/10. The puppy food has more calories but the regular food is in a form that you get more weight in a cup. So I would say the puppy is the richest and the regular is more dense. However, density has little to do with nutrition and has a lot to do with how big a bag you need to hold 50 pounds. Ezzy O.K. ...

I'll answer based on what I've read and heard. No personal experience. A feed that is "too hot" for a dog would be one that causes it to overheat and tire quickly while running.
