Re: How old?
I have a whippet that will be 15 in June if he makes it that long. He has a problem with his digestive system and can not get full benefit of his food and stays hungry. He still keeps the 7 month Llew in his place though. I will miss this guy for sure.

I did not get any bites on this. I bet in the old movies most of the horses were mustangs. That would explain the bigger boned look they have.

Re: pictures and avatar
open the thumbnail image. On the page that opens copy the url address and you should have the photo in its full size. Then insert it between the two that show up when you click the above img button. Hope this helps you. If not PM me with your phone and I will call and walk you through it.

Re: pictures and avatar
On photo bucket copy the direct link. Then paste/insert that in between the that appears when you click the Img button above the page you are writting on.. Should work like a charm. On the avatars first make the resolution about 72 then upload. Hope this helps you.

Appalachacola WMA has one area that has been improved for quail but it is not keep up very well because of funds and manpower.
Most hunting is with released birds in this area.

Big boned horses
I like the look of the big leg boned horses in the old westerns. They look to be able to work all day with heavy weight and keep going. Todays horses appear to have been breed for the smaller boned legs. I figure it is what most people think of as good looking. Could this be the equail of the differ...

Re: Does anyone else have problems with non-sporting dogs?
I have not had any problems as of yet. Since Rye is a puppy i try to keep him away from other dogs until we see how they will get along. Some dogs just do not tolerate a puppy. I also have a 14 year old Whippet and a 7 year old Greyhound. Top speed for a Greyhound is about 45 mph and 35 for a Whippe...

He is a puppy and as all puppies he wants something going on all the time. Give him time to mature and it will correct this.
