i have been using the pro 100 since it came out and it has worked out great in every way. the only dislike i ever had was the location of the tone button and that got put in another place on the new units so you would never have that problem.

What about the Remington 700 SPS if you want to go with a 700 in lieu of the 770.
I would also think about the Weatherby Vangaurd.

Both are budget minded rifles that shoot well.

start with a good stance an mount the gun. Do you see all of the top of the gun from front to back, do you not see the top of the gun at all including the bead or do you see some of the rib and the bead. do this at least 6 times.

yep, i am the same way. i have about 6 now that always go with me. they dont flutter around, when released. Fly fast home and dont mess around sitting on the house. I am not sure that a dog could catch them anymore.
