A SxS is only as good as it fits you. Example: On a neutral cast I will be looking down the left barrel. Before you go on your hunt do a search for a Vet that will be close to where your will be hunting. Call them and ask them how many snake bits they treat each year. Also ask them if they keep the anti-venom in stock. Many don't because it is expensive and has a shelf life. Always carry antihistamine ...

I am hunting them in Wyoming where the limit is 2 per day. Lots of birds if you find the right habitat. Hard to call the dogs off when their are a lot of birds. If it starts on the top of the paw, try at least 10 days with no field work. I know it's tuff, but this does happen. Time to get another dog.

I hope there are no chickens on the ranch.
With that said, I have an ACD that is the best flushing and retrieving dog west of the Mississippi. She learned on our chickens. She killed a couple and brought them to me. I did nothing but praise her. The training cost only two chickens!

Some times on some dogs this type of vest will rub under the front legs.

How much aggressiveness will neutering take out of a two year GSP? A friend has this dog and I need to give him the message before something terrible happens.
