I understand the frustration!!! I have a black and white GSP and every body says " I didnt know Dalmations hunted", or even better " How come you docked your labs tail?" when they see my sloid black GSP or when I had my solid liver GSP. Godbless the uninformed.

Well the ringneck is not native to North America, they were brought here in small numbers yet have populated them selves and can be found through out most of the U.S., not all but most. Well I have heard it both 100 and 300, and sorry I was off 20 years, never the less the most prolifect concur of any mammal on earth. My point being they cover this continent from almost one end to the other. And no special release in Kansas. They will survie, but we need to help them.

I agree, Cabelas has great service! Other than how fast they process an order any more is about the only complaint you will get out of me.I had a jacket I bought from them and they warrantied it after I had worn it and it started coming apart at the seem they sent me a new one no charge!

i have bred my dogs with temperment in mind, due to if I think the dog is worth breeding to another their hunting style must be what is catching the eye of the beholder( myself). I like the houndish, very loyal laid back family dog that is all business and desire in the field! So far so good!!!

Most of Central Kansas, good fishing, waterfowl, and great upland. Nothing wrong with where I am in the state but, Central has more quial,p.chickens, and pheasants with the waterfowl thing too.

I have heard of a lot of places that are kennels and breeders and such dont start training till the pup is 18 months old, IMO I think you are losing critical time of the learnning and imprinting stages of pups. The English side of the the GSP, has more hound, bigger huskier dogs with cat like temperments very loyal. I've had 2 females and 4 litters with 1 male in each litter being a absolute monster, 94 lbs,84lbs,78lbs, and 76lbs, lots of legs and built like 55 gallon drums that go all day. I have a 66 lbs...

Thanks, I guide professionally, so a pup or young dog with me dosent take long to get the gears all linked up a running. Best part of the thing is she retrieves to hand and doesnt play keep away, last dog to do that was her grandmother.By the end of March of our season and she will be steller!

I would take you out, but trying to leave all my ground that I have acsess alone, birds are here, but till it gets cold it wont be worth the time and effort they are just to spread out cuase of the temps and year we have had.

My newest pup Tikka is 6 months this thursday, she is 36 lbs. Her mother is 55 and sister from the first litter is 63 lbs. I am all ready guiding with her she is pointing, retrieving and honoring like the big dogs!

What dont you like about unloading it? I have a Extrema and not a fan of the unloading set up, but to me (IMO), its the last of my worries when the gun has only slitely malfunctioned one time, but havent complained it was -4 below zero, shot a light load and it was just slow as malasses to throw it ...

I not thinking it should be good, they havent had much to any rain down there!!! I was thru S central Ks, last week and they were already cutting corn. So you might want to look else where in my home state. You may call the local Ks Dept of wildlife and see what they say.

They release birds in S.D., just call Macfarland hatcheries. I know a game farm that delivers there about next month! And its not to a lodge its for the state!
