Re: For those with multiple dogs...

I am probably not going to be of any help here but if my dogs aren't welcome I don't go. Plain and simple. Unless it is just a few hours. We have 4 dogs offten 5 with a foster in the mix and they go everywhere with us on the weekends. No on gets left behind. Hotel stays and all. If you don't think t...

Re: Shelter Dogs

We tried running a small rescue for GSP's for about 6 months. Very rewarding but at the same time hard. I know many rescues won't adopt out for some reason if you have intentions of hunting. I was ok with it as long as the background info was good. And all but 2 of the 18 dogs we adopted out are now...

Pretty much once you are over 3 dogs it doesn't matter if you have 4/5/6 in the house from my experience. I would also like to add one more to our home in the next 6 months but convincing the hubby of that is another story!

Ray-
Thanks for the explenation. As you can tell I have never had a tracking collar! :-) I do totaly agree at how fast a dog can run. Especially a hunting dog!

As one can see with having to drive now 5 hours to get their dog. But I am so overjoyed for them that they found her! :D
