There have been lots of times I wish I had a camera also. It is pretty amazing how fast they can fly. Your story reminded me of that guy who flew a single man plane with the geese. So did you feel like one of the flock if only for a moment? :D

When my kids are going bonkers in the house and need to "burn of some energy" they are told to either clean or go outside and play. After re-reading your post I guess an even more common misconception would be to generalize what everyone calls a pure bred anything. Pure to what genes they have now. Or pure to original genes. just call him deeyogee (DOG). wait,that may be chinese or somthin. That is actually our house dog's name. Kinda rolls of the tounge we call her D for short. You could name her Cora Bell . Another way around the water bottle is a camelback, or a hydration backpack I've noticed thet they even started selling an off brand of these with replaceable bags at walmart. Haven't gotten one yet but will before summer. I think they were like $20.

I have a 6x15 kennel and also have a 30ft chain in the back yard. We have A LOT of back yard and live in the country. Pull seems much happier on the chain than in the kennel, seems to have more room to run also. Just wondering what some others view points vs. the two are.

He was 67lbs. at his one year check-up. Probably about the same now. Think I will try cutting back a cup less morning and evening for a bit to see if it helps thanks.

Just to clear things up there isn't a dog involved with this question, we were discussing bloodlines when this came up. And he made the analogy that someone had told him (not to be rascist) that if a white woman was pregnated by someone of another race that somehow her genetics slightly change also....

I have a question that a buddy asked me the other day. If a bitch becomes pregnant by some other breed or mutt, and whelps that litter would that in anyway affect what she could pass on to future offspring (bloodline)? I wanted to say that it does not, but was not absolutely sure.

I had 20 pullets before having a gsp. We let them free range all summer. When pup was about 6mo. we had 12 left. This winter we have one left. If you want to keep your chickens keep them cooped up.

In my opinion eliminate the threat to your livestock and say nothing to the owners. Legal retaliation is not the only style of retaliation. It sucks but there are some wierd people in this world and they may retaliate for killing thier dogs.
