Do I understand your post correctly that it is APPROVED for American Field trials and pending with the AKC?? I know there revised collar looked like it would meet the size requirements, but I didn't know how far along in the approval process they were. It makes perfect sense that they would approve...

Some really good points raised on here. If someone is willing to pay $1000 for a 8wk old pup, and are happy with that and give it a loving home and family, isn't that ok? So long as the owner is happy with that, then so be it. If they could get the same dog at $300, and are happy, then that is that....

Thanks... I was extremely proud of her. My wife and I wanted to go to the show, but it was a 9 hour drive (or so) one way, so we opted out. Now we wish we did, but the timing was great for us, so at least we know she was in good hands there! Thanks for the kind words...

When I had my pup, I worked on obedience a great deal... stay, come (or here, which ever you prefer), down and such. As for the biting, some say you should put your thumb under their tongue with your fingers under the jaw. Don't apply pressure but just hold the pup's head there. They soon don't like...
