Some facts, but Nutmeg hit it pretty well! Fox contacted AKC to give them the opportunity to discuss the recent ECollar study that was done and made public. They also contacted the CA trainer to give his point of view. The Marketing Department of AKC was handed the assignment to cover the interview....

First maybe some of the "facts" that have been put on this page need to be set straight. These are from the Committee Reports and Witness accounts. The judge went to committee which was gathered to announce placements and said he wanted to file Misconduct Charges at that time. Charges were not filed...

Since you have a GWP, I recommend someone who has experience with, and likes the breed. They are not GSP's with hair and they have different attitudes.
Maurice Lindley is one to consider, he had done well with some Wires. Brenda Roe has a GWP and would also be someone to think about.

At 6 wks, I wouldn't expect much. That is young, very very very young to expect a whole lot of holding power. Constant supervision is all I could suggest. No water about 30 min or so before bed time.... but I wouldn't expect him to hold it too long at all at that age.

When I am looking at a litter of puppies from a great pedigree, with proven parents,I have to have something to separate them. Something that I look for to pick one. For me, first it's temperament- outgoing, inquisitive, interested in stuff around them, not afraid to get away from their litter mates...

I like a dog with angles front and rear and that's why I chose the bottom dog. The top dog had no bend of stifle at all... to me that would limit their drive off the rear. More reach then drive off the rear. I like a dog with a tad more length in the loin so they are supple without the back bending....

I like the bottom dog better, balanced front and back. And I like the bend of stifle in the bottom dog. The top dog has a roached top line.

In our club we have seen several new young(er) families begin to trial! I guess we just keep encouraging them, inviting them, make sure when they do show up they have fun!
