I am one of those people who attracts ticks, chiggers, etc. The critters will crawl a mile to get on me. This is the only thing I have found that is bullet proof. We used it in the mulitary.

You guys fill me in on these white and black shorthairs. Do they come from certain bloodlines or do they show up from time to time along with the liver? I saw on run this past winter and he was a bird finding machine and he looked good doing it.

I got my first TT in the 70's and have never looked back. I have upgraded a few times since but never due to equipment failure. I have never tried DT or Dogtra so I won't comment on them. I did get the Inotec system with launchers and backing dog.....it's a piece of crap.

I think I qualify as a responsible breeder but have never bred a female that old for their first time. I will rephrase my question.

Waht are the risks associated with breeding a seven year old setter female for her first time?

She is healthy (still a good all day hunter) and has always had regular cycles.

If you use creamed corn put that in before the buttermilk or your mix will be too thin. Put your buttermilk in last and just enough to get a stiff batter.
