Not sure on navhda results, but sounds like Larue has given you the correct direction. Now on Pippen and Cory. I am going to make some assumptions here and hopefully you all can straighten me out. ssjetset, would your vet happen to be Doc R. of the "Shooting Starr" line of GSPs (he is my vet). If so...

Every grouse hunter has thier own preference. I have seen both, hunted both, and my opinion is...bigger running pointers that know how to handle birds. Key is knowing how to handle those wild birds...does not help to have a big runner busting birds all day long. I want him out there finding birds......

Tags for Deer here in WI are like swatting mosquitos...kill one, go get another. Some are actually free. Just need a deer lisence and in MANY "units" you can continue to shoot-em-up! Spring turkey Tags are another story...pick your unit, pick your time frame and hope you get your choice...again, kin...

Tyler, I am in SE WI 20 minutes NW of Milwaukee. Get together w/Chris and let him work with ya. Dogs are constantly learning and I do not think he is going to "forget" what he has learned. Will he be 100% - No. I really saw the light click on when my GSP hit 3-3.5 yrs old. After 3 (different) summer...

Tyler, Not knowing your pup's exact age, but probably what Chris is also wanting is for the pup to be a pup for a while. You are correct on the confusion statement. Sometimes the less we try and "teach" and the more we do in "fun", goes a LONG way in the pups development. Like stated previously, I d...

Thx Brenda, no need for the number now. I am familiar with Greg Wood's dogs/success and I will follow Bill through the UFTA site. Also having you as an "eye"/professional witness also says a lot.

When the time comes, I will keep him in mind.
Thx again - Greg

1. Put a 2X NSTRA Championship on my GSP. I told my wife after number 1 I would slow down

2. Co-own a English Pointer and research running in some cover dog stakes.

3. Confirm "house" plans to add a setter to our family.
